WhiteApple was created with the belief that reading is the fundamental factor in a child's academic success. With a focus on empowering parents to lead the charge in becoming their child's first teacher, we are providing opportunities for children to acquire the necessary early literacy skills needed to become successful independent readers.

Our Goal: To promote and advocate for early literacy by providing education, access to books and early literacy events.

Early literacy workshops will be conducted to introduce parents, guardians, and family members to early literacy skills needed for children, ages birth – 5, to become successful readers. Literature will be provided and participation in activities that support early literacy will be encouraged.
WhiteApple is a 501c3 nonprof that promotes the development of early literacy skills and fosters the love of reading. Its purpose is to provide children access to books and services within the greater San Antonio area.
